WebCinebench is the only thing that makes me hit 90 degrees, and that's because it pushes every core to the max. It is rare for any other application to do that, since each core gets assigned to different tasks, which aren't all equally as computer-intensive. To be sure, I would recommend some headroom like 95 °C max.. ... After running a multicore test in Cinebench R23 for 10 minutes, my CPU maxed out at 80 degrees with an average of 76 degrees. And when I do the Aida64 benchmark the CPU hits 90-95c with around the same frequency although it throttles down nearer to 4.0ghz about 3 mins in.
