WebApr 13, 2024 · Since switching to W10 pro on a new build, two months ago, the CPU and GPU fans have been running at full speed for 1-2 seconds at startup. The graphics card is about a year old RX580 8GB and the M.B. is new Gigabyte Elite X570 with an AMD 3600. Sometimes they run for 1 second and sometimes longer 2 seconds.

WebMy 3 GPU fans don't spin after loading into windows 10. The card runs hot until 88 degrees celsius before it starts to throttle. This didn't happen initially when I upgraded to this card. Trying to google this problem has provided nothing useful. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? I'm hoping it's some rogue software problem. WebDisabling Zero-RPM in the radeon settings (Performance -> tuning -> fan tuning) seems to make it not do this with 2 monitors. shutting down my second monitor also "fixes" this so it seems to be caused by having dual monitors or something like that, resolution and framerate might have an impact on this problem too.
